Tidier accounting: cancelled Etsy settlement, bank accounts with currency, easier catalogs
This update focuses on the books. You get a settlement tool for cancelled Etsy orders, a new searchable Catalogs page, the KCT tax rate, and a dedicated technical account per company for opening balances. A few changes deserve attention before you approve purchase requests.

What to do after the update
- Set a currency on existing bank accounts (use "Fill all with suggestions" under Catalogs › Bank accounts).
- Check inventory, expense, payable and tax accounts in Catalogs before approving purchase requests or payment orders.
- Label your cash accounts (for example 111, 112) if the Cash screen says none exist.
- If opening balances report a missing technical account, contact your Genbook administrator.
- When you post opening balances again, load a file with every line of the unit: lines missing from the file are deleted.
NEWNew features
Settle cancelled Etsy orders
Fully refunded Etsy orders that still carry a receivable are now settled with one entry per order: non-refunded Etsy fees move to expense and exchange differences to FX gain or loss. Preview, post and undo in a single dialog.
Where:Sales › Ecom orders › Etsy menu › Settle cancelled orders
Catalogs: overview, search and quick jump
Catalogs now opens on an overview of 14 catalogs grouped by topic, with a row count each. Type in the search box (accents optional) or use "Quick jump" to move between catalogs without going back.
Where:Accounting › Catalogs
Bank accounts carry a currency
When adding a bank account you now pick its currency. Existing accounts without one get a suggestion based on your ledger; use "Fill all with suggestions" to set them at once. Vouchers must use the account's currency.
Where:Catalogs › Bank accounts
"KCT — Not subject to VAT" tax rate
Choose KCT as a product tax rate and for the shipping and packing lines on invoices.
Where:Catalogs › Products; Settings › E-invoice connection
Cash screen warns about misfiled accounts
The Cash screen now flags accounts sitting under a cash group that are not cash accounts, or when no account is labelled as cash, and says how to fix it.
Where:Accounting › Modules › Cash
New home page, Blog and Help Center
The Genbook home page is refreshed and now includes a Blog and a Help Center so you can find guides faster.
IMPROVEDImprovements
Invoice drafts include an exchange-rate step
You review and adjust exchange rates before drafts are created. For Etsy orders choose "Etsy rate", "Vietcombank" or enter your own per order; the draft editor shows which source is in use.
Where:Invoices › New invoice batch
Order export includes the ship date
The order export gains a ship-date column to match Date Shipped; it stays blank until the order ships.
Where:Sales › Ecom orders › Export Excel
HEADS-UPChanges to be aware of
Purchase requests and payment orders need configured accounts
The system no longer falls back to default inventory, expense, payable or tax accounts. If one is missing you will see a message asking you to set it up in Catalogs; then approve again.
Where:Approvals; Purchasing
A technical account per company
Opening balances now post their offset to the company's own offset account instead of a fixed account 999. A company without one sees a message and needs an administrator to set it up. The trial balance no longer includes off-balance and technical accounts.
Where:Opening balances; Reports › Trial balance
Posting opening balances replaces the unit's whole set for the year
Each post replaces all current opening balances of the unit for the year with the lines in the file. Balances not in the file are deleted: on the Opening balances screen the confirmation lists them and you must tick to confirm before posting; when you post through the assistant, its confirmation card also names the balances that will be deleted. To change only part of the set, load a file with every line you want to keep. A bank line whose currency differs from the bank account's currency is now refused.

On-screen guides may reappear
Guides open the first time you visit each screen in each company. Choose "Hide guide" to turn them off; the "Guide for this screen" button always reopens them.
"Platform operations" is now "Dashboard"
Only the display name changes; links and permissions stay the same.
REMOVEDRemoved or hidden
The "Monthly Statement" summary chip on the order list
The overall chip is gone. Per-row labels and the "Ship per Monthly Statement" filter remain.

Both items are not released yet and are hidden from the menu.
